Coatings-optimization cares for distinct increase of performance

The ball- and toric inserts of the Uniworx® - range have been optimized for hard-milling operations with the latest PVTiH-coating, which has already been successfully used in connection with Solid Carbide ball nose- and toric end mills.Compared with those inserts carrying PVAT-coating, used till today, you can machine with a 20% higher speed-rate from now on.
This leads to shorter machining-times, better surface finish, or, with unchanged surface-speeds, to higher process-reliability.
The maximum coating-thickness is increased up to 5µm; this means a 25% growth and thus increased wear protection.
