Cause |
|
Surface speed too high, feed per tooth too low, excessive temperature variations, or varying of coolant supply, interrupted cuts. |

| Solution |
|
Reduce surface speed, increase feed per tooth, flood with coolant continuously or shut off coolant, select stronger edge condition, reduce entering angle. |
